BACKGROUND;
This year's provincial election (to be held on May 12) is shaping up to potentially be a horse race
to the end... early last year (before the economy tanked) the NDP was polling
with much stronger support than it has recently polled... after the economy
tanked, polling seemed to indicate a favorable shift to the BC Liberals
(reflecting a desire from the electorate for strong economic leadership during
uncertain economic times).
However, with stocks markets rallying nearly 20% over just the past few
weeks... concern about the economy might be weakening a bit (which could benefit
the NDP in new polling) ... and if the stock market rallies even more over the
next month or 2 (which I think it will) it could benefit the NDP even more.
